Dino

About

We built the thing we needed.

Dino was built because API quality was the hardest problem we kept hitting at our day jobs. Every fast-moving team runs into the same wall: the API layer breaks silently, docs drift, and nobody catches it until a user does.

Why Dino exists

Every fast-moving team hits the same wall: the API surface keeps growing, but you can't hire fast enough to keep up with quality. A QA engineer covers maybe 50 to 100 endpoints with real rigor. When your surface hits hundreds, the economics break before the API does.

Then AI arrived. Teams ship faster. Every pull request adds endpoints, changes schemas, deprecates fields. The API surface grows at AI speed. The quality coverage stays at human speed. That gap widens every sprint.

Every solution I found was either a noisy dashboard nobody checked or a language model that gave different answers on different days. I did not want another testing product. I wanted a deterministic quality layer: same input, same output, every deploy.

So I built Dino. Forty days from first commit to published CLI. 3,118 tests in the engine. Zero false positives on 261 live API operations in production today.
